This map is designed primarily for games occuring between 1066 and 1419, or the era immediately preceding EU2/Crusader Kings times.

I'm having some trouble with Anatolia though... :/

Wow! Looks great! Especially Greece and Italy with those many small provinces!

I have some requests though.

Could you adjust Eastern Asia Minor a bit so that the Byzantine border can look a bit like this: :D

And can you carve out an Ohrid province of the southern part of Dardania? Ohrid was pretty important.

And make these Lybian provinces a bit narrower. So that they are more like stripes along the coast. Would be more realistic IMO.

There are no other things. This map looks really great am I'm eagerly waiting for a release! :D

REALLY nice!!

Altough I think that some more provinces to the north could be added.
(stretch the map more up north... :))

I love the rotation, it will look sooo good ingame, of course it will take a while to get used to it. :)

Hmm looking good. Interesting perspective.

Thanks for the comments!

I'm working primarily on Africa at the moment, but after I'm finished I really want to get Anatolia right.

I have some suggestions for the Balkans and Asia Minor:

1. A province for the city of Adrianople which was pretty important at that time. You can call it Thrace.

2. A province for Bulgaria. Maybe call it Northern Thrace, but I'm not sure.

3. Varna

4. Northern Macedonia (Philippoupolis)

5. Dardania

6. Ohrid (a bit misplaced by me, must be further south :eek:o)

7. Roman Cappadocia (found no better name yet)

8. Melitene

You must have been thrown by the projection, as it stretches things out in ways we're not used to.

If you look really carefully, I do have provinces for all the provinces you've mentioned, except for Roman Cappadocia, not sure what you're representing there?

MKJ,

I've been hoping somebody would whip up a Europe-only map for use in MP, the main reason being that it can house a vast number of provinces where (in MP) they actually count.

I do hope you put a very large number in Germany and Italy, in particular. But of course, that's purely selfish and not scientific. ;)

I've put in a ton, a lot of which are more than likely superfluous, but I will probably have to remove quite a few for balance and IDGrid reasons.
