I noticed that somehow, Samarkand is owned by Tahart. I guess this is a bug, isn't it?

Also you can see that Gokturks have "latin culture" of buildings...

Are the Sub-Saharan states added? I fail to see them among playable nations. I mean Ghana etc.

I found some bugs :)
Nanzhao's .inc uses nation tag U22, it's supposed to be U21.

I found what is causing the crashes, it's Valahbi (U18) but I haven't found out why yet.

Okay good I did find that Tavastians and Trøndelag used the same tag aswell. :) About Valabhi check if the capital is not listed twice as city.

I noticed that somehow, Samarkand is owned by Tahart. I guess this is a bug, isn't it?
Also you can see that Gokturks have "latin culture" of buildings...

That is a bug will be fixed. About the city sets, I have overhauled the country.csv so things like this should not happen.

Are the Sub-Saharan states added? I fail to see them among playable nations. I mean Ghana etc.

Nope so that would be great to have. :)

Okay that is good. :)

I thought maybe I could help you again by naming the sea zones at least in the West, unless you want to have medieval sounding names for them too.

I am also in the process of finding Indian city names, so maybe that could be of some interest to you as our time frames are very close.
Oh and yes that would be very much welcome. :)
I have entered the Western sea provinces into AU 1.03's province.csv, basing myself upon vanilla. I am not entirely satisfied because I fear that some of the names might be anachronistic, "Saint George's channel" for instance, but if you are interested anyway I could upload the file so that you could use it for the next version, and maybe then other people will have better ideas about these. I will certainly end up doing the Eastern ones too if no one devotes himself in a near future.

The Indian city names I will enter directly into my scenario files because I disagree with some of the city names you used in Europe so it will be much easier for me this way than to have to rework the province.csv every time you launch a new version.

Totally unrelated but is there any post in this thread where MKJ explains his religions system (just yes or no I'll find it by myself once I know there is one)? I was thinking of using it at least partially but I am confused about certain things, where do Buddhism and Confucianism fall into for instance.

Lastly, have you, or MKJ who's been doing a good job about the manufactories, been thinking about the buildings (Tax collectors, Courts of justice, Governors) and how they could be adapted to our time frames. I was thinking one of them could become a Monastery, or do you plan to keep them as they are? The main difficulty is of course to find names and functions that could fit with all the cultures around the map (did Muslims have any kind of Monasteries for instance?).

yes, the muslims have zawiyas which are kind of eqiuvalent to monasteries

I'm interested, we can always just rename some of them if they do not quite fit the time.

Yes MKJ has given explanations, those are in the other thread of AU. Dharma contains all the East Asian religions.

About the buildings, I haven't thought about it, though I know no one starts with a tax collector, though all have the technology for it this obviously needs to be fixed.

Here it is. :)

West-African and Asian provinces wil take some more time since unlike Europe, they have more sea provinces than vanilla, some names will have to be found for these new provinces.

Thanks.

Good news I have finally finished the Frankish Civil War 714. :) And I have added events for Papal States and Byzantine relations. Next up will be to add monarchs for India which is the last area lacking monarchs except Africa. :) Then I will add more events for Francia, Lombardy and Papal States in order to make it all happen maybe like history (Ahistorical paths have been added as well).

Just a little note. I have made Agila II's faction into a nation called Septimania who will also be waging war against the Visigoths. The Arabs have events to attack them. ;)
Aquitaine has been split into Aquitaine, Vasconia and Pamplona. Aquitaine and Vasconia are ruled by the same monarchs and Aquitaine have Vasconia as vassals. Pamplona will represent the Basque clans at this time. They have a different set of graphic thanks to Prinz Wilhelm and Semper Victor.
The Tribal Union in India has been split into Narwar, Mewar and Delhi. :)
Sailendra and Mataram has been added as nations on Java. :)

EDIT: Indian monarchs are now done. :) MKJ do you have some monarch lists for nations in Ethiopia and Nubia?

My own research dates the Zagwe to much later on in history, due to an incorrect progression that has stood unchallenged for most of history. Also, Ethiopian historians do not like the big interregnum that occurred with the end of Axum.

The incorrect progression equates King Caleb with the more famous King Caleb, but the famous King Caleb's throne name was Ella Azbeha II and the later King Caleb lived hundreds of years later.

To make up for this large gap, the first 10 or so Zagwe kings are given very long reigns of 40 years in this progression, where in reality only a few of their exact reigns are not known with any precision. The correct length of the reign of the Zagwe is about 133 years, not the 333 of most chronicles.

I'd be interested in using this map for multiplayer. What would you say its current condition is? And would it be playable?

Thanks.

Thanks for the update, Alex ;)

I just didn't want to expand Armenians too much to the SW - Armenian "expansion" further to southwest took place in 770's and later and if it could be done by events, I would maybe even keep Amasia and Sebasteia Greek

I'm making quests for Armenian immigration to happen in Caesarea, Marash, Lycandus and Melitene. I thought I could make it also for Amasia and Sebastea, what do you think? Max?
