It's always good that you were asking about important things we repetedly forget (e.i. the rules of naming provinces) I always get confused and am too lazy to search for our conclusion, so the naming is pretty chaotic in the end. Mea culpa. Sorry.

We should put it into one of the first posts. Some time ago I already deleted mine so CT could put the most important stuff into post 2 rather than 3.

As for namings, could you CT link this your post in the thread's second post?

After you finnish all naming of provinces, could you please send me the final version of the map with names and I will check it all and fix those parts where it is wrong (mostly due to my fault) I think it is the bet way - better than doing small regions. (or send me some larger regions - all together - and I will fix them one by one)

Here are 4 versions of how to solve SW Morocco.
1) Nūl's caputal is Nūl, Sus al-Aqsā has no capital, Draā's capital is Tindouf


2) Draā's capital is Nūl, Tindouf is name of the capital


3) Nūl's caputal is Nūl, Draā has no capital, Tindouf is also name of the capital


4) Draā's capital is Nūl, Tindouf is name of the capital, Sequīet el-Hamra has no capital


I personaly support version3, but if we need capitals for all provinces, then only 2 is of any use.

PS: the absolutely correct spelling of Draā would be Dra'ā (درعَا‎), but I don't hink we need to be so much correct.

Maybe i'm late to ask this but how many did you put provinces on the Brittish island? I've seen there are more than in Europa Universalis 2 or 3 but i'm wondering which ones, because if its not late i can still help you with many maps and i have many historical books about England and historical atlases....

Just a question - why is the Arabian peninsula a different colour on the map? Is that on purpose?

It's just the terrain. It's mountains. It's just while we are changing the province.csv. I gave all the regions different setup which all provinces in the region then have just to make a playable scenario.

Here is the scenario I just put together. As you can see there is a little TI problem, but atm I can't solve. It does nothing what so ever except graphical.

The permanent terra incognita problem is due to a bug in which the mod-dir version of the permanent terra incogita settings is not loaded, and the default one is loaded instead.

This is why MyMap uses a .bat file to run.

Hello everyone ... once I'm back at my comp in Germany I'll participate in editing as well!

This is the time I've been waiting for since the project's foundation!


We should agree on a set of standards regarding province wealth and manpower before we seriously start editing anything though!

I hope everyone noticed it, but if not then I'll write it here. When I put the value of 0 in all the coordinates blocks I got all sprites in each province centrum, the coordinate the coat of arms and COT uses. So untill we get time to put the cities on, we still have the sprites on anyway.

Well it can't be, I use KaRei's Modlauncher and every time I edit some things on the map in the timeline area it changes in game. All the other areas works perfect with TI btw. So again not that. But in WATKABAOI I also had this issue so must be how Magellan reads the east and west border area.

Yeah this is much funnier than doing the map, but I must say it gave me a lot of knowledge about the areas.
Yes of course and all like naming of nations, do we want dynasties in as nations and such. And we need to tweak the techs.
