Then he should acquaint himself with his nation by looking at the save in SP mode.
Then he should start making between-session diplomacy.

I just made a test with Paul. Unfortunately he had AGCEEP as his standard installation and could not find his installation disk. What would the community advice him to do? Is it free for dl somewhere? After all, he has already bought the disk once.

I don't believe it's available for free download (or other free options) even though he bought it once. It's the persons own responsibility I fear. As to AGCEEP; can't he just uninstall it? IIRC AGCEEP has this feature. Of course this probably depends on his current AGCEEP version. I know a guy that knows a guy that knows how to get Eu2 for free and btw if ur close to stockholm sweden i've got 4 copies of Eu2 all bought from the store but in different versions 2 is only eu2 one is eu2 and war of the north or somethign and the others is Eu2 and victoria

and i understand that england wont get any uber tech edits but comeon.. when i played spain for 2 or 3 seasons england was ghosted for 2 seasons and 1 season daniel subbed it(think it was the last one) this proves that it needs edits when Joohoo took over. but he didn't get any. England got a whopping 12/13 in LT and NT i don't know why Joohoo didn't ask for edits and i think he should have gotten some.i coudl ask for Dp clicks also for the ghosted time but i don't wanna because i think it's to much

I think that is reasonable. I do not oppose a few DP clicks missed as well, of course with the stab hits that would have happened had they been made in-game.
Actually England's eco techs are rather good, better than mine e.g. I believe Joohoo may have hyperteched somewhat. Say giving England 16-16 in Military techs, from presently 12-13. Had they not been ghosted ENG would have traded and explored a lot better and would have earned quite a lot of money.

ya i was thinking about telling that but i wanted it to be short and not be forced to calculate gains and lost from trading , explorationa etc that havn't been done
I dont oppose the edits proposed. Quite reasonable as Daniel said. I wouldnt object to 3 DP clicks or so either.
Well England will obviously receive some edits, but i am not sure which. I also have to check the edits the OE will receive because of one ghosting some weeks ago. But as i am actually busy with more important matters at hand (which i will unleash upon the comunity soon ), it will take some time to decide, which edits they will both receive. But i do promise i shall post the edits late this night (or perhaps sooner if i have time).

the WATk didnt work for a weird reason
so i installed another one over the Vanilla version and it still didnt work but ow for another weird reason.
But then when i tried to make a fresh install i found out that my EUII disk was missing.

If you have lost your original EU2 CD and have somehow damaged or lost your installation, you must get a new legal version of the game.
