Old Gods Unavoidable Crash

So I'm a good ways into a great old-gods game, fantastic game! The problem is, I've hit an unavoidable crash. If I re-load the most recent save it happens no matter what I do or choices I make, I even went back to a previous save and once again around the same time it crashes.

Is there anything I can do salvage my game? I haven't run into this problem since early EU3 modding, every paradox game has been so stable.

Is this only happening in that specific save, or having it also with different games in CK2?

If it's just that save, it sounds more like a bug and should be posted together with a DxDiag and game logs in the bugreports.
