Old Gods message and unfamiliar checksum on 1.111 patch

I bought CK2 from GamersGate, went on it for a bit, then downloaded the the v1.111 patch. When I went back on the game some of the loading screens are Old Gods images and when I start a new game a pop up appears saying 'Welcome to Old Gods!' with some tips about pagans. I bought no expansions, just CK2 with that patch, and it doesn't have any other Old Gods features like being able to play as Pagans. I'm not sure why I'm getting that 'Welcome to Old Gods' message everytime I start a new game?.

Also, the checksum is 'KLYP' on my game but everywhere else I've read about the 1.111 patch it's referenced as checksum 'MYLP'. Is there any reason for this on mine?

I've got OLNJ as checksum

The current checksum is MLYP. KLYP means that you have recently played a game, it wont affect anything other than trying to join multiplayer. If you do want to join a multiplayer, make sure to exit and restart your game so you have the correct checksum.

Yeah realised a few hours ago my checksum changes virtually everytime I go back on the main menu don't think it affects anything.

It has always done this, ever since you've had the game.
