I own the Old Gods. THe very first thing I did when I came home was install it into my game. I've restarted the game twice, and the start date is still 1066, and I'm still not allowed to play pagans or Zoroastrians. Which there aren't any. What am I meant to do?

I am having the exact same problem. Downloaded it from the DLC ingame store installed and restarted the game. Nothing is allowed. My game is 1.10. I cannot reinstall the DLC.
edit -just noticed my game downloaded the 1.10 patch but it didn't get upgraded.

I have the same problem. I have SKDF checksum and I have Old Gods on my list of DLCs which is ticked, however, when I load the game the earliest start date is 1066. I wonder if like m4j some step has been missed. It said it would take 1/1/2 hours to download the old gods but then actually only took a few minutes.
I fixed my issue. When TOG installed it created a new shortcut - this didn't have the steam key in it. When I launched the game from my old shortcut it worked. Hope this helps you guys
I had the same issue .. I'd DLd and installed the patch this afternoon and then installed TOG tonight .. wouldn't take ingame .. I then noticed the game was reporting I was still on the old patch, so I DLd and installed the patch again and bingo! it worked ..
