Hello
New here but certainly not new to Stellaris.
In my current playthrough I found a planet with the migrating forests on it. When I moused over the icon on the planetviewer I found an old game mechanic leaking through. It says increased society output on neighbouring tiles.

On a second note, I made an ecumenopolis out of this planet, shouldn't this modifier be removed on creating a planetwide city (ergo no place for trees anymore)?

Both are not gamebreaking, but I chuckled when I saw them.
Thanks for the amazing game btw
David

Old mechanics are gone. The forest works with the new planet deposits and just gives a flat bonus to all society research. It's just that some tooltips haven't been updated
