Okay, where is the announcement?

I have come back to check out this site today because I was informed that an American release would be announced early this week. This is Wednesday, the middle of the week, so the announcement must be here. Could you please direct me to the announcement? Thank you in advance.

announcement? i dont remember anyone promising anyone. i remember them saying that a english publisher will be announced, and a publisher will be announced before saturday.

I think they just said sometime this week and didn't say they would definitely announce a deal. Still, the fact that they said they expected to announce a US publisher this week indicates a deal is very close, even if it takes slightly longer than anticipated.

First Johans said they hopped to be able to announce a publisher for US early this week. Then one guy from Paradox Bussiness Development said they thought they would get a publisher an (announce it) during the week.

There have been several posts from Paradox that they are negotiating with several US and UK publishers, that they expect to close the deals any time soon, and that they will announce it as soon as they got a publisher. Now, I don't know what you do for a living, but in the real world of business everything does not just go as planned. Now, that isn't so hard to understand is it?

Of course there is an alternative explanation. Paradox are part of an international conspiracy that's out to get you. )

Why all the resentment? hehe I was just looking for some information. I hadn't been here in a while, and they said they were gonna announce it, so I assumed the announcement must be here somewhere.

I think you should aim for a softer attitude, the topic for this thread is quite negative and can put many peole in the off mode, then you get those answers...

They're not aiming to announce a release date for the American version but rather the publisher. No doubt they'll give a 'round about' release date which'll be off by 10 months as usual ..

Best to just wait patiently rather than believe the publisher.

Well Sap. another wise comment. Don't expect miracles, they do happen though, have some common sense and just wait for the release. This way you can actually have a life meantime. And if you cant wait buy a released one =).

Since when did asking for information become negative? Perhaps you are blaming me for something that isn't my fault at all. I simply didn't know something so I asked someone to enlighten me. I fail to see how that is negative in the least.

Well Vurbil, I'm not absolutely sure what you meant, but from the way it's worded it looks like you already found out that there was no such announcement before you posted this, flew into a fit of rage, and wrote this as an angry sarcastic post. You can't weasel out of it that easily.

The biting tone, sharp words and sardonic attitude of some of your posts here and in other threads tend to cause people to have exactly the reactions you are questioning. But you already know that – I think you enjoy the action.
