Both Doomsday and ARM and now I want to know what mods people think are the best. I am a MM type of guy in EU and VIP in Ricky, so I know CORE is out there. Does anyone use other mods as well, and why. Also are there mini-mods that people add to CORE? Just looking to have a good experience with the game.

I've tried many but stopped on one - Mod34.

All others have:
their graphic (amateur and ugly as for me)
same or even worse tech tree
totally unrealistical combat and stats of divisions (like total realism project)
unrealistical events or scenarios (USSR with very weak industry and so on)

Mod34 has very good as for me own tech tree, bigger and more realistic + more events + some improvements
Its "-" - Germany is weaker due to some logical bugs.

IMHO.

Well given the fact that you're a MM and VIP fan, chances are that CORE is the best fit in your case. Not that other mods aren't any good, quite the contrary, but there are vast differences in design philosophy and actual modifications. Most will still have the Vanilla tech tree for starters. The ones that don't are Mod34 and CORE, as far as I know. But the proof is in the pudding, so it doesn't harm checking out a few of the others as well. I know I do from time to time.

I'd say the best mod for HoI is Historical Stony Road, but seeing as you're MM, then CORE.
