Wow, just played the demo and really can't wait. Having been recently lured to the darkside of Xbox live, this game reminded my why i still bother spending £££'s upgrading my PC. I was very pleased to see that it runs beautifully on my medium spec PC, (an issue which annoyed me about CIV V). The game looks great, plays great and i'm already sure will become a favorite of mine. I hope that there's going to plenty of DLC for us to get our hands on, something which after only spending £14.99 on the full game would be happy to pay for. The potential for adding to this game is massive.

Even better, Collosal istalking about no DLC's, because why should gamers pay for what they already bought and a new patch has already been developed based upon beta and gamer feedback. WOW!

Well certainly Cities in Motion is a full game and doesn't need any additional content to be a full gaming experience and if needed, we will patch it (fix bugs etc). What I mentioned before is that why should you pay for just a map as a DLC that you can create yourselves. When we make DLC we want it to bring more to the game than just a new city, so the DLC is worth paying for :)

That is very admirable. But seeing the trend with other games you can't blame people for speculating maps would be new DLC. I'm glad to see Colossal Order thinks DLC should be more meaningful content.

Hm, any sorta of hint at something we could see for future DLC? Say, new vehicles, changes to the system, and with a possible new expanding map mixed in with others? Say like a DLC of 5 new vehicles and a new map, I don't think that would be to bad for a cheap price.

I thought about this real hard and it dawned on me. The game is a full game, and is beautiful so far. But what about offering standalone dlc's which can work together in however order with each other. From your viewpoint, it can double your profit, giving you more money. Our viewpoint is that it will double our experience. What I care about as a gamer in this genre is a game that does not end. And if you can give us a choice as to do we want to micromanage the whole scene, or just a area of gameplay I would think you can attract a more variety of people into the game. Maybe even allow cities to connect to each other and become a country. Who knows. Im just saying its something that hasnt been done before and its possible to do with some tweaking. Myself I just dont think I can make a mod that would allow some of these features I really been wanting in this game. I like to micromanage, others would like to macromanage and let a ai buy transports and create lines. Both have pros and cons.

I really admire the attitude which this team has. A real good job and this will be the beginning of a stunning strong career/life voor Cities in Motion. The most longlived and profitable games are in those categories due to interference from the (hard-core) gamers who create addons and enhance the game. Think about The Sims, Flight Simulator, etc etc.

I really like the way The Sims is build-up with adding modules (With new functionalities) and large content packs while maintaining an opening for 3rd party creations and a separate store for small additions to the game.

Kudo's to the team!
