But your forums run just as well as your games; poorly.

Trying to sync my games so I can access your tech support forums. (Problems with EU4)

This is mind blowing. Just give me access! So anyways, I've connected my steam account. (WHY DO YOU FORCE THIS?!) The forums still don't allow me access. Fine so turns out I've got to sync my account? Okay whatever, so I attempt to do this, but it's not recognizing any of my games. Just help me out, please. Why do I have to jump through all these hoops. I've got over a 1000 hours into your games. Why do you have to make everything so hard?

So people who have pirated the game don't waste their time. If don't think it's an issue I would suggest you read about what the developer of Batman Arkham City did.

We don't want to find ourselves supporting software pirates, so we do ask our customers for proof of purchase before getting access to our support forums, yes.

While things can go wrong sometimes of course, so far as I know it's working fine at the moment. The process is as follows:

Please go into
https://accounts.paradoxplaza.com/profile/email
and connect to your Steam account, then
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?account/owneditems
and hit Sync Owned Items.

If you've been through that successfully then clearly you or we are indeed having an issue, for which I apologise.

You can always get help (for games or the forums or both) via our ticket system as paradox.zendesk.com , which requires no login or anything.

I've done that already, Andrew. I suppose I'll attempt to submit a request though your ticket system.

It should be noted that this was no fault of yours Ste3b, you did everything right, our sync script decided to take a time out and started to run super slow. It was processing all requests, it just took much longer than it should. This has been resolved now.
