My crappy 2/1/1 Leader of Serbia gets Pretender Rebels, led by a 6/6/4 beast and he takes one province and refuses to move and siege more, so I can't even negotiate.

If you attack them with a weak enough force they may retreat to a neighboring province of yours.

You can't negotiate with pretenders as far as I know.

Also if I remember correctly the progress bar will go up over time. Just let them be (and move your army far away)

Yeah I fixed it, moved my army in to vassalised Bosnia and even though it took the guy three years to take the hint, he moved about and finished the job. Makes sense you can't negotiate when I think about it.

I love pretender rebels. In my Norway game they broke the PU that Denmark had me in without any kind of DOW or hostility.

Denmark accepted by alliance offer the same day that Simon I Bjelke took the throne. :laugh:

Would be nice to have the option to bribe such beast... an expensive one to not make it OP, but still an option... that would happen in real life.
