I want to see an offical response from paradox on why their game is not out in almost all of America........I'm waiting.

I'm wondering if it's some clever tactical ploy in regards to their marketing and pre-investigations of sales numbers.
If I wasn't so much feeling like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for Dad to get up I probably wouldn't be thinking on this level towards what's going on.

Yea it would be nice, this is one of the biggest Cluster F***s in video game release history. How do you not have your game released to one of the biggest markets?
Well I'd say the one you should want a response from is Atari/Infogrames.They appearently underestimated the demand for HoI2 in the USA.coryman said:

Relax, this is a European made game. Just because your in the US dosnt mean you need to get it as soon as Europe does. Im in Australia and have to wait nearly longer then most for my copy to arrive due to distance. So chill out, if you dont get it until next week then bad luck it is only a game after all. Try reflecting on some of the world events that happened on the 26th of decemeber in the indian ocean for some sense of reality plz.

Actually, according to the release plan, he should - and sooner. It was set for Scandinavia and US on January 4th with everybody else lagging behind, and Scandinavia later got the release date changed to the 14th. (Preorders were promised to be shipped the 4th as well, although some people seemed to mistakingly believe that it meant arrival the 4th anywhere in the world)mike8472 said:

I dont think PE is responsible for this at all. NA is Atari's baby. This thread wont accomplish anything i doubt you'll get a response.
I will say that this NA release is smooth as silk compared to the fiasco that was the HoI1 NA release.
Pfffft, Europe was the first place to actually see action in WW2, seems only just that Europe gets to be the first to play the greatest WW2-game (not WW2-era BUT WW2 in it's ENTIRETY) of all time ... you'll just have to wait for another 2 years and 3 months

Whoa Whoa Whoa, no need to insult a entire country for ones or a few peoples opinion. Don't get me wrong I am upset because of the fact that nothing happened the way it planned but I'm not going to pitch a royal temper tantrum about it. Most of these guys are 12 and up, most likely, and don't understand the way the big world works. Yes it was a mistake but the blame shouldn't be placed on anyone, or at least that my own opinion, it just one of those things that happen. It should be out the 10th, which I would be pleased with, all good things come to those who wait.
About the America thing, sorry if it was just a joke, but I tend to take it alittle personal when you put all Americans into the same bowl, saying we are all impatient and spoiled or whatever else forgieners say about us. (oddly enough it also seems they are the same ones who say we dont help the world when they need it.) Not all Americans are bad, dispite commone belief, just like not all Germans were Nazis
