Grumblefish said:I guess this is mainly a full-game question, but is there an option to enslave the entire population of a capture territory, or at least increase their slave-population percentage?
I ask this because there are a lot of people who want to play as Sparta. Messina was lost in the 4th century, but if we re-subjugate the Peloponnesos, then can we re-slave them?
Also, you said that captured slaves are added to our population. Does this mean that if Sparta raises a large army (not too feasible, I know), and just marches around Europe capturing barbarians, can they turn Sparta into the world's biggest slave-centre? They only have one territory, so presumably all the barbarians captured would be deposited there.

Leaders with low loyalty, in addition to refusing to give up command and starting civil wars, will also refuse to let you screw around with their armies by reassigning cohorts and merging.

Or can you colonize coastal provinces somehow?

All I can say is that when I looked at my own nation, with the diplo screen, I had the option to release a prisoner, I havn't actually run the demo in 10 hours or so but I'll try to grab a pris, so I can test out how to do things with him.Swamp Rat said:I got myself a prisoner as well. But i never found out where he went, so eventually i forgot about him (until now). So my question is where do you find the prisoner to access the actions possible to do him?
SonofWinter said:Quick question. Does the province you want to colonize have to have 50 civilization or does your province have to have 50 civilization? Also, I see civilization go up an down in the barbaric areas around me, how do I make sure they keep their civilization rating up?
That lets me view him, though it is nice to have a list, it doesn't help me do anything with him. I did find out that a pris is able to be assinated, by you, in your court, though success is not certain, so no execution. And as I said he can be released.Alexander Seil said:There's actually a ledger page listing foreign characters in your country and also your characters abroad.
Yes. Have the diplo screen open an click rome(or carthage, who ever you are), and click take action, then choose assasinate. Select vic, it all your court, and the you may succed.Asmodeous said:Why can't I build roads? :/ It says I don't have enough technology, but doesn't tell me what tech level it has to be and I can't find anywhere that breaks down such things, but yet all of Rome is covered in roads that apparently Rome does not have the technology to build? How does that work?
I'm assuming this was disabled in the demo for some reason? :/
Oh! I remember a real question I wanted to ask. Is there a way to assassinate your own generals and such to get rid of them before they cause a problem if you can't pull them away from their generalship due to low loyalty to send them away to be killed (I mean... declare war... >.> )?
Me.
I'm gonna assume that you have not played paradox games before, if i'm wrong simply tell me, I'm used to being wrong.FredBart said:BUT, how do I play? Is there a tutorial for those of that are new to this game? Is the demo only for people that have played before? Can anyone direct me to a download that will explain how to play the game? Seems a little complex to just dive right into...
Thanks!
