It looks like an absolutely amazing game just waiting to be played.
The only one thing that is annoying at the eye, is the shape of Thrace (eastenrmost Balkan region of Greece bordering on Turkey) and Bulgaria as a whole. It is just that shown against the total awesomeness of western Europe they lack a bit.
I understand that they are maybe difficult to depict using the game engine and as such am Ok. with them as they are now. However they can be made to look so much better, I am sure of that.
Thank you again for an amazing game, now if only I had time to play it...

The first screenshot depicts the look when you are zoomed out in the political mapmode. There are no province or country borders there, as they simply would be too small. And yeah, we're still working on adjusting and tweaking province bordersBulgaria, Netherlands and Belgium especially.
The second screenshot shows Germany zoomed in in detail in the terrain mapmode, so you can see how many provinces there are.
(And in other news.. We've sent a few more screenshots showing other parts of the map to the press today so feel free to hunt them down..)

That was pretty much a given since it's using the EU3 engine. Should support any res from 1024x768 to 1920x1200.Crilloan said:Oh
Widescreen support!
Take a look at the EU3 and EU:Rome requirements. HoI3 will probably not be much different (may need a bit more RAM and CPU though). The major upgrade vs. HoI2 is the Pixel Shader 2.0 video card.KanaX said:I just hope my computer runs it. Otherwise, HoI3 will be at least 500€ more expensive to me![]()

Hm. Nobody made a good mod to HOI2 with the mini states. Will it change in HOI3?![]()
