Has there been any mention to making Observer Mode useful, other than the comments mentioned by Wiz on a stream several months ago.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
I've not seen anything, but I doubt it is a priority, as it is a rarely used feature. I had thought they were moving away from bothering to have an Observer mode, with both Stellaris and HOI4 not having one.
It's next to useless, in that you can't see anything about any given empire. Pretty much it's one reason we don't have a stream similar to EUIV's dev clash.
