The Finland WWW was a nice idea and a very good introduction to the generic focus tree. It's just a shame they used a build with the AI turned off.

I'd like to see a number of videos in the same vein - focus on one small part of the war and one section in time. Spanish civil war, Japan starting it's attacks into China, Finland again (but properly), maybe something ahistorical in South America.

The multiplayer WWWs they are focusing on the game too much and not on showing it to the viewers (How many times has Johan started to answer a question then gotten sidetracked!)

I am a little confused watching the Devs play how movement can be done. Personally I do not like to lose control over my divisions and let a planned AI path take it to where it wants to be, at least all the time. The Dev~Germany slowed down and showed individual flanking in Russia I believe in episode 4 or 5.

In other such titles I like the control precisely where my units go, how they're built, like you all. I like the detail. What's in the soup... But I am sure they will add all that cause that's the fun stuff. For those who like Macro I'm sure they'll automate that stuff. That's cool too and when you want to play fast MP you cannot sit on Micro all day long or a game never finishes. I have only sat in 1 HOI MP game and it was so snail slow. It wasn't as bad as MP Victoria but it was slowwwwww cause it's detailed. After players learn how to play well like the Devs have they can streamline the experience.

Which makes me feel that this title is ideal for MP. I would REALLY love a 1933 or earlier scenario, as Ahistorical as that sounds. That way you can tweak a nation!

P.S. I wonder if my GFX 7700 Radeon and i5 can handle this title also o.o or if it will sputter around. Yet to be scene I suppose.

I love the new battle plan feature for single player because I'm shit at multitasking. I like to look after my troops but if I get distracted I often forget to switch back quickly enough. I can't begin to count the number of divisions I've lost by loading them in transports, sailing to the enemy coast and then leaving them there because I was dealing with another battle elsewhere. Or to have 20 marines starve themselves to death in the Pacific because I invaded but never captured a port.

If I put together an army and navy to invade the Philippines then I want them to do that, I don't want the generals to sit round shoving pencils up their noses because I had to go deal with an attack on Singapore or Greece or wherever.

If your machine can run EU4 then it can probably run HOI4. They say the engine is similar and the number of provinces will be similar also.

I really like the WWW, but at the same time hate it. I feel like the devs are playing the game and blazing through it without really taking the time to show us everything that they are doing. I really would like them to slow down and talk about the tech trees and everything. They just gloss over the naval and air war areas.
