Is anyone else having this issue with students? It seems like nothing I do stops the students from dodging fares. I figured the best way to stop people from fare dodging was to increase enforcement, so I hired 1,000 ticket inspectors to bring the rate of catching dodgers up to 40%. I ran the game for a while and this didn't seem to have any meaningful impact on fare dodging. I also keep my prices at the "fair" level, ie when the fares are displayed in white in the fare options window.
Why are my students dodging the fares so much?
It's not a big deal since my metro is still making tons money (enough to hire 1,000 ticket inspectors and still make money!), it just doesn't feel very realistic that ALL the students dodge the fares!
