number of manufactories

When I am attempting to build a manufactury and the description tells me that only one can be supported at lower risk and cost, does it mean one more or just one?
Because I remember seeing it told me 2 naval manufactories can be supported at lower cost before I build the first one. Now it tells me that one is supported at lower cost.

You can keep on buliding manufactories but they get progressivley more expensive.Take a look at the 'investment strategies 'thread which is currently running.

The first two manufactories you build can be built at a lower cost. After that the price goes up, and keeps going up every time you build another manufactory (this is independent of inflation).

A little tip/cheat for you, the game doesn't regester that you have built two manufactories untill they are actually completed. So what you do is save up for years, get loads of money together and then build lots of manufactories all at once. Because non of them are completed when you order them you get them all at the lower cost.

Of course the longer you wait the less time you have get benifits out of those manufacturies
