Nuclear tech off

How do I disable all nuclear technology in a game?

(I know it's not historically accurate but neither is the Allies nuking non-German cities in Europe).

I did it this way:

In the folder db\tech there are txt-Files named nuclear and secret (or similar).
Edited them with Wordpad that prerequisite for each Nuclear Tech is the Tech itself. So to research i. e. nuclear waste bomb, you have to have it already. Works fine.

i am having a small problem, when i am researching the first infantrie tech to get paratroopers, its going so SLOW any specific team to use? of what country? i am playing as belgium..

I've had a look at these files and I'm a bit lost as to how they are structured to be honest. What exactly is the prerequisite?

(Not sure what the last 2 posts have to do with nuclear tech???)

In these files every tech has has a 4-digit ID. There's also a prerequisite technology (or several) given that has to be researched before you can start researching the chosen tech. If let's say Nuclear waste bomb has an ID of 6220(don't know which ID it actually has) , there also has to be a line that shows prerequisite is tehcnology 6210 or so. Change this to 6220, so you can never start reseraching waste bomb because the tech that should be reserached requires the tech to have already been researched.
