Well, there's always a special place in my heart for this troubled Russian minor. As silly as it sounds, Novgorod was actually the first country I've ever played on EU2. I've tried them in AGCEEP now, but the mod seems to make things much more difficult. I've tried both joining the Lithuanian and Scandinavian alliances. With the Scandinavians, Moscovy DoWs me, and they just sit there in, with the starting sliders (1 on offensive-devensive slider, and i think 1 also on the quantity-quality one.) I've tried to outsiege the Moscovites and their allies, but, like normal AI armies, they seem to be everywhere. With Lithuanian alliance, I manage to stave off the Scandinavians by giving up my 2 colonies up north, and I'm on my way to getting something from Moscovy, when Poland (or was it Lithuania?) declares peace! Later on in the game, I get into a war with the Teutonic and Livonian Orders, and while in the middle of this war, Moscovy declares war, and I manage to get peace because Poland made peace for me (what hindered me before, just saved me now, strange huh?). Years later, back to Scandinavians and Moscovites DoWing, and this time, I can't stop them. It's easier to form Russia in AGCEEP (sort of, you don't have to take Tule/Moscow). I pulled off forming Russia in vanilla, but in AGCEEP it's just too crazy. Anyone able to help with a strategy?
