I don't know if this is the right thread to post this in. After a game crash and a quick look at the error.log I've found the following inconsistencies in the mod files:
1) Missing or improperly commented information (fathers of characters) in history/characters/chubu_characters.txt at lines 907, 8518, 9247, 9487; this is minor
2) Most importantly, there should be no further characters after the soundfile name in interface/eventwindow.gfx at line 43, namely

Are you using The Validator to check the modfiles? I believe it catches most of these typos.

Thanks, I haven't noticed that interface typo.
I haven't used the Validator for a while, since we have concentrated on history files in the last year (the validator is sometimes too "sensitive".
When we modify events etc. the validator would be more helpful.

Check if the graphic mod is really downloaded.

Since it isn't simply authentic.
Are you satisfy with Italian portraits when you play a War of Roses scenario?
The difference between Japanese and Mongol characters is bigger than such a case.

I understand that some of you (especially those who haven't played CK1) feel 3D portraits are better, but it causes another problems.
If you bring a 3D graphic artist in this mod, it would be highly appreciated though.

The current black ones should be updated for sure. The problem is "which one is the best"?
In Vanilla, christian religions don't use clan crests (dynastic emblems), but so called CoAs for each title. So, if we use the crest of Otomo for the CoA of northern Kyushu "Kingdom" and suddenly a Shimazu guy grabbed the title, Simazu would use the Otomo crest. It would look strange, although we should accept this inconvenience at the end...

The AGOT team made a system where any title can switch its banner to that of the ruling dynasty. The Legend of Zendar mod uses it as well.

AGOT method applies only to some titles (and dynasties) and is a bit complicated I think that better and simpler method would be just using
"has_coa_on_barony_only = no" for all religions.
It will also save devs some time since it won't be necessary to make CoA for every title.

Also I have some suggestions regarding Christianity
Currently I see that there is no head of the religion and since Rome is far away from Japan I think that religion structure should be more decentralised (and similar to orthodox christianity in vanilla?) with Missionary Bishop (probably naban/portugese) being head of religion; (there would be potential to extend network of lesser bishopies if you start expanding as christian daimyo)
Also it would be cool to have possiblity to (later) declare yourself head of Japanese church.

I don't know much about history of Japan so cerrect me if something is wrong.

As for Elephants, are you saying about unit graphics or unit itself?
There are many things to be changed, in fact...
