Opposed to the standard starting European infantry man there is one graphic where they are represented by a peasent with a wide brimed black hat and pitchfork.
I'm confused (nothing new). That's the graphic rebels have always had. Sapper seems to imply there was another graphic at one point.
the last beta patch (or the last version of the last beta patch) had the spearman.

Well, I think I 'fixed' that, but unfortunately I'm in no position to test it (I don't have a LAN at home... unless EU2 is one of those games that don't mind running multiple instances which connect to each other on the same computer? Probably should try that). So, because the changes were untested and _could_ have affected normal MP play, Johan quite sensibly didn't include them.
For people who are concerned about the NAT artwork still not being right, blame me going away for a week before sending the suggested changes to Johan... and I get back to find exciting things have happened!
For those interested in error messages, they're not all they could be: all those that are picked up with abort/retry/ignore messages should give you a more useful description, but no CtD causing errors (e.g. some odd cross-category id clashes, I think) are 'fixed'.
