I can tell you that nothing has been discussed or done regarding EU3. As for when anything is going to happen regarding EU3, I would say in about 4 or 5 years.

BIG ouch... well it's not that bad actually coz if it came out soon, i have no idea how i'd dump EU2. It's already far ahead of the other stategies currently released afaik. And with such massive scripting modding and patching, i think we can live with it forever, lol

i'd just jump right in. i finally got EU2 in july, went straight to the last patch, never played out of the box.

then downloaded the july beta only last week and likely try this new beta next week or so. i like the change ups: keeps the game very fresh when set strategies dont work as i anticipate.

Johan said that EU III won't be out before 2007. (He got tired of people asking when it would be out.)

There is a thread which used to be a sticky but is no longer, called EU3 Wishlist where folks have given their opinions/wishes on what should and should not be in EU3. None of it is official - just what folks would like to see changed from EU2.

So unless you want to see what others want out of the game there is no place where you can get any info on EU3.

My remark was based on my first impression of Victoria being translated back a few centuries into the EU time period. One of the big requests on the Wishlist is more provinces - Victoria has it, partial conversion of religion in provinces - Victoria can have varying amounts of people in the same province with different religions and cultures. There are probably many more things in Victoria which folks would want to see in EU III but I'll let you decide what you think would translate from Victoria to EU III.

Good patch. Only thing better would be the Eu3 announcement. They're making it, they're just hiding it. One day we'll see it out on the game shelves...

I'd really recomend fixing that norway thing before playing. I started a game without fixing it and suddenly I notice Aragonese settlers going to Norway. There was no Norway, the provinces were colonized by Castille and Aragon.

They re added in a pewriod poland didn't have any leaders (before 1492) and are not very great leaders
