It lags, but I force my way though it... 5 seconds a day is okay with lag... can't wait for the (game and) patch though

I assume, there will be a changelog for the patch, and we shouldnt bother PI with such questions, until we get the opportunity to read up on what has been changed ourselves. (And dont ask afterwards either for that matter - since then we can read up on it)

With Patch
Just checked the speed with the 1.1 patch. Time dropped from 8.+ to 4.+. The drop was close to 50% in the required time.

We still need to do longterm optimisations & reduce lag for some machines.
Sadly this can only be done when you get thousands upon thousands of people with various configurations to get feedback from.
Happily, you have a long track record of taking what's wrong and making it right.

Don't worry Johan....I (and most others) are very grateful for all the work you and your team have put into this game....having not played it yet, my hunch is that it will be the most detailed grand strategy simulation of WWII to date, and this is what us "grognards lite" want...a chance to simulate some of the possibilities....
I could personally care less about the condition of v 1.0,,,,you folks do a tremendous job of patching your games...it might take a little while to get it completely "right", but in two years when I crack out this game again, my gut feeling is that I will be very pleased to be playing the best WWII sim released to date....until HOI4 of course!
