not win32 application

I bought this game off gamersgate.com
I downloaded it and when I went to install it, it said that it isnt a win32 application.

What can I do. I've e-mailed them about it, but they're taking there time to get back to me. Anyone else had this problem with Vista?

I know the game works on my computer, because I had a friends running on here before.

Sounds like a corrupt or incomplete download. Try downloading again - it's a pain, I know, but it happens.

Installed it on a Vista machine without any problems. From the gamer's gate FAQ

Q: I get an error message saying: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The specified executable is not a valid Win32 application.
A: You probably have corrupted files. This may be caused of a firewall, proxy, antivirus, internet security settings etc.. The first and the last file may be of different sizes but the rest should be about 15 Mb(14.649 kb). Delete any file that look suspicious, lower your security settings and download again.
A screensaver or any other energy saving application that have been activated during the download may also be the reason for corrupted files.

Have you tried to just download it again?
