Newest patch, when doing a Tiger hunt as an Indian, half the time, you do kill a tiger, except you get the popup that says it was a failed hunt. Sometimes you get both.

But there are also some other strange, more disturbing things, such as...

As an Indian, I am a count, I have 3 counties, I save up my monies in the early 800s AD, so as to Subjugate Orissa. My neighbor has 3 counties also, and 175 gold as I go to trigger the war. I have 600 gold, so yeah, it seems a given that I'll win. I raise my 1,000 troops and throw in a good 3,000 mercs for good measure. No half measures around here, you know where that leads, right?

Well guess what, he pops out with 8,000 troops. His gold didn't even blink. Whyhowwhat?

Here's a screenshot to demonstrate my problem:
2014-10-27_00001.jpg

I tried raising more mercs, see if I could somehow save my game, but no. It is failed. I feel there should be some kind of logic to things, and right here, there is none.

Also, I feel that gavelkind succession now requires a large amount of luck in order to pull off a decent playthrough.

Recently I had the empire of Bengal, with 5 or 6 kingdoms in it. Succession is gavelkind. I have 4 sons. As their father, I have 13 counties, and I gave a number of fiefs to each of them already, except my heir has only one county, coz I can't give him any more, and I was trying to kill him off at war. Anyway, so daddy dies, and the heir gets the empire, the smallest kingdom and ONE county. His brother got *3* kingdoms and an obscene number of counties.

So now, Gavelkind == get very lucky or gbye.

Here's my save if any of you are curious...

Could those troops be from a Holy Order?

I had little problem creating an Indian Empire. I think I took it slower than you though. When I acquired a Kingdom I increased its CA until I could change to Primo - and then I'd go after another Kingdom. One at a time... 5-6 Kingdoms with Gavelkind is not a position you should put yourself into.

Indians can use Holy Orders against different Indian branches. If you attack a Hindu as a Jain, he can call upon the 8000 holy warriors. It's ridiculous, yes.

How come my own Holy Order is only 3,000 strong? They are not balanced?

And more importantly, how come I can't check if they're busy somewhere or not?
