Not many plots available to me

My character is King of Ireland and Wales and owns two counties in the Duchy of Brittany. He only has a plot available to kill his wife and nothing about fabricating claims on other counties/Brittany. I remember reading a while back that if your character had the Kind or Charitable traits, you wouldn't have the option to fabricate claims or something along those lines.

Is this true? Do some traits have hidden effects like that? If so, which are they? :O

Fabricating claims is done via chancellors. The plots you can choose in the Intrigue screen are the "special" plots; generic assassination plots can be activated by going to the target's character screen and finding the dagger button. My Kind characters seem to be perfectly able to plot, save for the reduction in the Intrigue skill.

Fabricating via plots can only be done inside the realm. If you're independent, there's no option for it.

Isn't the plot to revoke a title and not to fabricate a claim? I don't recall seeing plots to fabricate claims...

I am not sure what the rules are for revoke plots to appear, but maybe you need a claim (a personal claim rather than a De Jure one) already?

Edit: Ah I see I play as ruler too much. If you are a vassal there are plots to Fabricate...

Liege is not parent
Not heir to the target title
Target title is your dejure liege

75% and 3 backers (60% chance) OR
100% and 5 backers (90% chance)


Fabricate Claim Fellow Vassal:

Not heir to the target title
Dejure vassal of target

Same liege as target

75% and 3 backers (60% chance) OR
100% and 5 backers (90% chance)

Duke or above

Target is a landed title
County outside duke's duchy OR duke with no counties OR county in your primary duchy OR count's secondary county
