Not getting educate child notification with Conclave?

Since I installed Conclave I'm no longer receiving notifications as to when a closely-related child comes of age to be educated by a guardian (age 6). Because the game mechanics are as inscrutable as ever and the wikis don't seem to mention how guardianship works at all in Conclave, I'm completely in the dark as to whether this is having an effect on my game or how to change it.

1. If I click on my king, it shows he has no wards. If I click on my ten-year-old son, it shows me as his guardian. My reaction to this: ?!?!?!?!?!?!

HAS my child gotten screwed over because I didn't right click him and assign myself as guardian in the four years the game failed to notify me he was of age, or is the game basically automating that for me and I shouldn't worry about it? What's going on here?

Might be worth reporting in a bug thread; 2.6 has caused an issue with not-Conclave education traits not being assigned at 16 (they come at 17 and thus are random), so it's not outside the realm of possibilty that there are issues with Conclave as well.

Im not getting any notifications for a guardian at age 6 either. Did they take this out or is it a bug?

I'm assuming it's a bug, because if I assign myself as a guardian to my child late, he usually ends up with a one-star education trait and the game chastises me with a, "BECAUSE YOUR SON HAD ABSOLUTELY NO EDUCATIONAL DIRECTION, HE NOW SUCKS FOREVER" message. F you game, why don't you f'ing notify me when someone is old enough to be educated then.

Has to be a bug. I'm getting all the required notifications for education and my game is fully up to date. Do you do any modding?

I have no mods active, when any kid turns 6 I get the noti to set a focus, but theres no more notis about education.

There should be another notification at the age of 12, when you further direct your child based on the traits it got.

From what I understood from the Conclave, guardianship is now more optional part of child's education, a child will always have an educator, which seems to always be you, or your spouse. Guardianship is now more of a "I suck, but make my kid better pls" and "Here a kid, I won't attack you then. + little opinion buff."

Ahh ok, so reading the wiki and I guess its pretty rare for the guardian to pass on their traits. So I guess its pretty much useless unless you wanna get that +10 opinion bonus.

Same here. My son turns 16 years becoming adult, available for marryage but no trait until age 17.I dont have the Conclave DLC. Any help?

Oh wow so this is happening to others to? I thought it was just me lol. I haven't been getting the assign guardian at age "6" notification since before I got Conclave. And strangely enough I only get the notification for them to got on to adolescences education at "12" tho. I pretty much thought it was just me and really didn't fuss to much over it as I just had to make a mental note on when my heirs turn "6".

But if this is a bug, whats the deal?

So is it a bug or is it working as intended? Are kids screwed out of stats if you don't manually assign them a guardian at age six, or aren't they?

I find it ironic this is happening, because people are complaining there are apparently too many chancellor events, and now here we have not enough child ones! Those chancellors are hogging the spotlight!
