Recently I decided to start a new game, to finally start unlocking achievements. I only have a few mods installed, however all are graphics only, and I made sure that the checksum of the game is unchanged. However after playing the game for some time I still didn't get anything, despite the fact that I already completeld the requirements for the colonisation achievement for example. Are there any other requirements for the achievements? Or do I just need to disable all mods, regardless of checksum?
Forgot to add: Yes, the game was in Ironman mode.

well from what I can tell any mod can remove the achievements system unless it states it's compatible with it.
so some mods will be achievement ready and some will not. I check with the mod maker and see if they made it that way.
I myself use a My Little pony mod that is compatible with achievements and Iron man mode, but patching and game updates may have messed up the system.
Yes the mod is a bit out of the norm but I like the show so I try and deal with the backlash.

That.Is.Horrifying.

My Little Pony wise it's not that bad, but the achievements on the other hand can be like that.
I think the system may have been part of the up in coming DLC/update to the game and the last patch may have been to set up for it.
plus the devs are in a new sea when it comes to the system and modding, in CK2 you had to be unmodded and in Iron man mode, and when they code they code it in without thinking, my guess is that there is an if else or some other statement block like it hidden deep inside the game code.
plus the mod has Pony, human, and other forms from the show as well so I am not set to one type of game it has more content than you think
Pony
Dragon
Grifien
Changling
the list is like that plus the Human copy of the ponies as well(Humans are limited for now and have a nod to a team of villains as well.)
