Not Gaining Favors With Austria in War

So I'm fairly certain is the second time this has happened.

When answering Austria's all to arms you might not receive any favors if Austria is defending the Empire. In this particular case Burgundy attacked Liege and I didn't gain any favor despite winning a few battles and occupying territory

I'm assuming this is a bug and not an intended feature.

Doesn't sound like a bug; you gain favours wtih the war leader, not the nation that called you into the war.

That's seems lame.

I'm in the war because of them. They should owe me a favor for supporting them.

Normally someone being set to Co belligerent won't give you favours with them so WAD

I'm not saying they shouldn't, I'm just saying it's not a bug.
