Spanish "conquistadores"?

During GCs (I'm playing Russia, now - but it happened also in previous games) Spain never conquers Maya, Aztecs, Chimu and Incas). They go on making peace for some money and never conquer provinces, and seem more interested in establish colonies and trade posts more than conquer preculumbian civs.

Poor Italian 1.05 patch! the only improvement I can see is the lower RoCTD (rate of crash to desktop)...

Bye,
Francesco

PS Historically, when Spain discovers Latin America, Chimu should be already annexed by Incas (in 1520 circa Inca Empire spreads to actual Ecuador) and Zapotec by Aztecs. Maya civilisation fell down during IX century).

I don't think that is true.At the moment I'm playing Spain/Castille in GC and at 1553 I have conquered and anexed Aztecs,Chimu, and 3/4 of the Incas,The rest will go to,I'm of course using the massive amount of conquistadors for this.Only "bug" in this is that I seems to get a very bad boy reputation with the other European powers which is a bit out of order since it is pagans I conquer....Ooops forgot that I also took cherookee (not historically correct)
