Budget showing profit but my treasury is decreasing

Playing Vicky 1.01 as Sardinia-Piedmont in the 1836 scenario.

I have run up a not so small debt building factories, but with export of luxury furniture and rather high taxes (no tariffs), I'm getting a profit of about 5, or rather, that's what the "budget manager" tells me. In actuality, my treasury keeps decreasing by at least that amount (often more) per day, running me further into debt. Am I missing something here, or is this a bug?

PIII 450
128 Mb RAM
Win 98

(Yes, I am full aware that the above is quite pathetic, but it meets the minimum requirement…I'll hopefully upgrade parts of it soon).

I'd say it's a good WAD as otherwise you could missclick some and be in serious trouble..

If anyone needs proof that Paradox cares about their customers, you need look no further than the above reply. Getting an answer from the main programmer within two minutes just before midnight...on a Saturday.

In other words...you're deranged Johan...but in a very good way.

Well, just on the off chance anyone was wondering, Johan was absolutely right of course. Exiting the screen did the trick...now, if only my debt wasn't so large...
