question: losing my vassals

I keep losing my vassals (when I look, they no longer seem to be vassals), and they're not declaring war on me. I think it's been happening when we've been involved in wars, on the same side, but I'm not too sure. Certainly I didn't get a message relating to any change of circumstance.

In what conditions can a vassal become un-vassalled, without a DOW?

When they break vassalage.

They have that option, and you won't be notified. They loose quite some stab though.

Also, I believe that support forum is for technical issues mostly, this would have worked nicely in either general discussion or bug forum I guess, but I'm not 100% sure anyway

If you're not getting notified when your vassals break vassalage, you need to change your message setting if you want to be notified.
