newbe question

My first post hope its in the right place, I was just wandering if anyone has experienced any problems whilst playing at the game speed of extremely fast or any speed, i.e. when a country like SOV or USA or any big nation start to invade or move units the game starts to lag two - three seconds, making the mouse pointer sticks like pausing. Is it the game engine or is there too much going on.

Patch 1.04

Slow the speed down, then.

This is no different from any other game being choppy when you try to increase the number of stuff going on to a point where your computer can't handle it. The faster things move in HOI, the more AI calculations and resources and stuff need to be done in the same amount of CPU time, and it can get choppy if it runs out.
