Malfunction with Deep Area Defense Technology

I am playing vanilla HOI 1.06 and I noticed something strange when I researched Deep Area Defence Doctrine. My defense value for my infantry only went up by 1, not 2 as mentioned in the tech screen.

The really weird part is tha a few weeks later, after I elected Japan into a Paternal Autocrate government, I noticed that I recieved the other defense point. I did not research any other technolgies that could have accounted for the difference.

I think it might be related to the fact that democracies receive only half of the organization benifits of tech while a peace. I think there may be a bug that gave me only one halve of the defensive benfit as well

I guess you don´t have the save with the reduced stats shortly b4 DoWing?

I don't think think there is anything you can do right now. I will try to replicate the problem to make sure I have not completely lost my mind.

If I can replicate it, I will send you the saved game.

One thing I do want to clarify. I noticed the extra defense point after switching governments, not after DoWing. Although the effect of both actions is the same, it may account for the different results.
