Gainin 0 piety from takin lands from the infidels

Playing as a catholic nations, I've already conquered Egypt and the Holy Land... gaining the right amount of piety.

Now, after some years, I dont take anymore piety points from conquering lands from muslims.

I also noticed this today. I conquered the Pechenegs as the Prince of Belgrade during a crusade, but I got neither piety nor prestige from it. Now, the Pechenegs are pagans, not muslims, but I believe you're supposed to get piety for attacking pagans as well during a crusade. Am I wrong, or is it a bug?

I can only add Papal State dont exists anymore (annexed by me... I'm the pope) and the crusade expectetions arent show anymore, but the crusade flag and sword are around my ruler picture, anyway.
In the savegame the crusade is active.

I think orthodox rulers don't get piety from conquering haetens.

That's the negative effect of reclamin the king title of Egypt, conquering Costantinopolis and inherit the principality of Serbia... too many greek wenches at my court

Something like your behaviour against the pope should normally lead to a war against the whole catholic world!
This would avoid a crusade without expectations.

I think it depends on the first kingdom title you take.

For example, as the Duke of Toulouse, I had all the provinces to become King of Egypt. But I wanted to be King of France first, since otherwise my capitol would move to Alexandria, I'd get a crapload of Muslim courtiers (which I did anyway), and start having Arab Catholic heirs...

One way to alleviate this is if you know your ruler is going to die soon, grant the kingdom you want to be primary to your heir. He will become independent since you can't have a king as your vassal, but it will be his 'first' kingdom, and his capitol will move to the richest province in that kingdom. When he inherits all of your kingdoms, it should remain that way, since it's done by chronological order in 1.01.
