COnsumer goods met but still gets dissent

Playing 1.05b with no fancy stuff. If I set my consumer goods to exactly the required, after a while, I will have 1 point of dissent out of nowhere.

If I set the consumer goods 1-2 IC higher than required, it wont happen.

You answered your own question. You need to be a click or two above the minumum to avoid having it fluctuate to just below.

Did you lock the CG slider? That's a right click IIRC. That works for all countries except for the USA and Russia where the CG need changes monthly due to war entry. For those two countries, you need to keep the production allocation window open in case events change your CG needs mid month.

I was playing Germany in 105b yesterday and in Feb 37 I suddenly see my disent go to 10%.... and start climbing rapidly before my eyes. My allocation was above the needed level and I hadn't declared war on anyone. I did get Austria ceeded in July 36 but saw no change because of this.

As the disent rose to 13% (it was rising 1% a day) I stopped the game and checked the history log to see if I missed a trigger... nothing. I adjusted the allocation to 20 over needed and restarted... it went up to 15% and levled. I played for a while longer and finally said... this is BS and restarted.

I am wondering if my file is coorupted... the thing that makes me think that is when the game starts I have three ships under construction.... the Graf Spee, the Sharnhorst and the Sharnhorst. Since I restarted I checked and the same ships are under construction when I'm pretty sure the times I've played road to war since loading 105b I got the Gniesnau instead of one of the Sharhorsts.

Is the 15% Dissent supposed to happen?
Is anyone else having the ship name problem?
And I still want to know why Kietel doesn't give a 2x manpower boost anymore.

Just checking. After you set your sliders, you do switch to away from the production screen so the values take effect, right?

Wow, struck a nerve there... as a matter of fact I had coasted down to zero suplies and until you asked I didn't remember. I also became concerned about the supply possibility at the time and upped it to start my stockpile once again.

Does this raise dissent?
I often start out with countries and use the large stockpile to allow me to devote resources to research early on in the road to war scenario. I'm not supposed to let it zero out?
