China Leaders
Just downloaded 1.04 and starting to play.
China leader file has some quite un-chinese names listed with some rather interesting attributes:
Khryukin,50291,CHI,3,16384,2,0,3,2,Khryukin_chi,x
von Falkenhausen,50290,CHI,1,69,3,0,4,0,falkenhausen_chi,x
I suspect some copy/paste oops here.
Also, on this subject of China leaders, Chennault is a bit under valued. [Have you seen the Discovery piece, Flying Tigers? quite accurate to my reading. "God is My Co-Pilot" is an excellent book on this as well.]. Besides his exploits in China, he had a huge impact upon USAA unit tactics and strategies. I would suggest he be bumped up just a bit to the following [one rank and add ST]:
Chennault,50292,CHI,1,12288,2,0,4,2,chennault_chi,x
Yes, he did not attain this rank until much later, but the AVG fought like a much bigger unit than it physically was [3 air groups]. They certainly were a major factor in the battles for Rangoon and to keep the east supply routes open for china.
I would suggest that there is even evidence to support a skill level of 5 or higher for him. There are very few equals of his during this era. Witness his results with the AVG, these alone are quite impressive everything else being equal. Now factor in the significant equipment disadvantage, both inherent in the P-40 .vs. Zero. Now add the maintanence/ spare parts issues. Now finally add in the numeric deficiency.
just my opinion....
