NOT A BUG: Bismarck and Tirpitz?

Bismarck and Tirpitz?

This is just a minor issue really, because it only involves the naming of ships, but I notice that now since you have BB Hull already in 1.03, when I start to build 2 battleships, they are no longer named the Bismarck and Tirpitz, instead they are Sharnhorst and Gneisenau. Whatever happened to automatically using their historical names?

The Scharnhorst class of battleships was a earlier class which started beeing constructed in 35 compared to the Bismarck 36.
This is why the first 2 BB's is going to be named Scharnhorst and Gneisenau it is completly historical.
The 3rd battleship you build will be the Bismarck and the 4th Tirpitz.

Ships are named in orderof thier appearance in the unit names text file. Thjis can be found int he DB folder. If you wish to build the units in a different order then by all means feel free to edit the file. I will not suggest changing the file because then people will complain that the Scharnhorst and the Gneisenau are beign built after the Bismark etc. Also not historical.

Oh, I see now, I didn't realize they added the 2 previous battleships into that file. Thanks for clearing this up.

No problemo... The big fixing of missing prerequisites in 1.03 might have confused you
