I am able to claim Sole Defender of the Faith even though there's already one

Hi,

On 1st February - I can't remember the year - Spain claimed Sole Defender of the Counter-Reform Catholic Faith.
In same year, on 3rd March, I was also able to do that as Austria (also C.-R. C. religion), and I'm sure Spain hasn't lost a war in that time.

Is it right?

Just because rollover text on the Claim:etc...etc... button begins with 'If there's no other S.D.o.F. you can claim...' or something like that.

Bug #286 corrected in 1.05???

Believe me. It's not.

This the one with the Claim Sole Defender of the Faith.

Bug 286 is a different issue: "You can claim Sole Defender of the Faith title more than once without losing it", nothing to do with other countries havin git.

I know bug #286 is a different issue, but it still doesn't fixed. I could claim S.D.o.F. about 20 times in a row, and I wasn't at war.

I belive the bug your referring to is the one in thread

where you DO become SDOTF, but the button is not greyed out and you can repeatedly press it, spending 1000 each time. The actual bug is that the button os not greyed out, not that you don't become SDOTF. As I understand it there is nothing that tells you who is the current DOTF anyway.

But back to your original report where you said you were able to claim it even though SPA had not lost it. Do you have the log showing that? Thanks.

Sorry, but the log was replaced by the other one I've already shown in this thread.

But, I swear for God, on 1st Feb Spain claim S.D.o.F. Cou.-Ref. Cath. and on 3rd I could also do that (alos Cou.-Ref. Cath.). I'm sure Spain lost no wars, due the peace resolutions message type was to be logged.

But for you to be sure, I try to make up an other scenario situation...

Nope, Spain had and has an alliance with Bavaria, Portugal and me (Austria).

I took the loans due I was curious if I was also able to claim S.D.o.F. And I was, that's why I opened this topic.

However, don't you know where the info about S.D.o.F. is in the save file (.eug)? It's supposed to be just below the wars' list, but it's not there. Nobody has an idea, even BiB!
