I’m wanting to complete this achievement and looking for tips to do so.* Naval supplies are scattered throughout the globe, not to mention as potentials in events and in new colonies, making this achievement even more complicated to complete.
*
I’m not really wanting to do a world conquest, I don’t think I have the skills to do that yet anyways with Norway at the helm but I know I’ll have to be in conflict with a myrid of nations before the main goal is achieved.
*
My thoughts are to limit my colonial expansion in the New World but get a good foothold in Africa and snake my way over to India (where there are a couple naval supply provinces if I’m not mistaken) while still under PU with Denmark.* However the bulk of the naval supplies look to be scattered across Europe so cannot be ignore too long and that means breaking free of Denmark.
*
I’m considering moving my capital to Africa in the Ivory Coast Trade Zone to capture trade from Asia and not have to compete with my more trade centric neighbors in Europe.* While at the same time start to make inroads around the Baltic Sea.* I saw lots of Naval Supply produced in that area.* Luckily GB appears to have no NS so I think can be safely ignored as can most of HRE.* France and Spain will likely be the big sticklers.
*
I’m hoping to obtain enough cash in trade that I can afford strong Merc armies to do most of the heavy work as Norway’s military and manpower have a lot to be desired.
*
Does this sound to be a workable strategy or am I going to have to be more aggressive in my start?* Should I ignore the New World?* I am thinking of rushing colonization and it maybe that taking a good portion of South America since it feeds in to the Ivory Coast Trade Node is not a bad diversion if it doesn’t slow down the rest of the primary objective.
*
Any suggestions?
