NATIONAL MILITARY COMPARISONS
During the last month, new investigations have given a lot of surprises. Amongst others, it appears the Czech and French army are much stronger than earlier anticipated, and that the British Navy have been judged too strong in terms of battleships.

Personnally I think costal defenses and land fortifications should be focused in the south of our country, because of the obvious threat posed to us by the Nazis...and not the red beast.
I will gladly command my forces in the defence of Norway.
I must stress the fact that the south of our country is the moste populated and therfore the moste important part in time of war. Defences should be consentrated in the regions Oslo, Kristiansand, stavanger, Bergen, Alesund and trondheim. A minimum of 2 possible 3 coastal forts should be present and some land forts at trondheim. This secures our industry and moste of our citisens. It is a costly request, not to mention the amount of troops needed to garrison the coast. But I beleive it is the only way to protect norway.
If this is out of the question for according to the government then land and coastalforts should be build in Narvik and hamerfest. The mountains should provide a fortress for our troops. But there is almoste no industry there not to mention people to defend it. It would require big stockpiles of food and ammunition and the construction of at least basic industry to supplie the forces during a seige.
These are my plans for the defence of Norway. Both will be qualified for defence against nazi germany or the soviet union.

I find it my duty to know at least some parts of our defensive operations.
So i have some questions for you who has any information on these plans.
What would be the biggest threat to our country right now? Germany or the Soviet Union?
Should anything be done to secure our future as a sovereign nation?

I would be happy to indulge your majesty with all the information I have got.
Our biggest onsern at the moment is a billigerant germany to the south. It seems to me that the germans want a rematch of the great war and I dont know if france can stop them on the continent. Norway would become a vital location for germany. And I dont think our government would be tempted to join this madman. The soviets althoug powerfull have become an introvert nation and have enough problems to deal with at the moment.
