This is a bit like the question posed by that Basque guy; since Norway was (in theory) an equal partner in the Kalmar Union in 1492, is it possible to get massacred playing Norway in EU?

Or do we have to wait until EU2:1792-1914 ?

Norway does not start the game as an independent nation in any scenario.

However, they are one of the nations that can become indepent after a succesful revolt.
