My king if I may speak my mind on this. The defenses are needed to provide safety for our country. At least some fortifications are neede on our extensive coasts. If we can detter any ladning norway is save. I fear that if we lower the defense budget now it will hount us in the future. I fear the most for the soviet union or the newly resergent Germany. These are dictatorships ready to carve up the world. We must be ready to not let norway fall.

I am warmthened by your readiness to protect our great country.
And you are off course correct. Maybe im not used to these new ways of fighting wars. I have full confidence in everybodies ability to protect Norway.
I would like more information on our military situation though. But this is not the place for such talks, they will be continued some place else.
