Either people have adopted Swedishness or they haven't. With so many nationalities, Sweden would assuredly tear itself apart. Things like industrialisation and the development of liberalism lend themselves to the emergence of nationalism
Does Sealand exist in your world? It is allied with France, Britain, or form its own block? Or, even, are they the northernmost allies of the Southern Empire?
There are Russian nationalist cells secretly funded by the Southern empire. Their main activity consists in presenting deliberately poor songs for the Swedivision and coercing the jury into selecting them, thus undermining the Swedish cultural domination over the world.
They have adopted Swedish nationality but they still have their own culture. For example, all Swedes are teached Swedish as their second language and identify as Swedish nationality.
Do you have nothing better to do than attempt to justify this poorly thought out irrelavent nation nationalist alt history?

Decolonisation wasn't a thing that could happen in some places and not others, it was a global movement. The empires didn't give up their colonies because they were nice, the British decolonised because the world had moved on and they couldn't hold them down. The other colonisers tried to fight to keep theirs, none of them succeeded
