Hi all, I'm playing as a Norman King of Sicily and I'm just starting to expand into North Africa. The problem is that most of the counties and holdings have Arabic names and I'd rather they had Norman ones. Unfortunately, as I only have a minimal knowledge of Norman it's a bit of a struggle when it comes to renaming them! At the moment, I just tend to use saint names when renaming holdings and this is ok but I'd like a bit more variety. Can anyone think of any names that Normans would be likely to give to counties or towns in desert areas? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated :).
