Alright, well even supposing that they can parse the data into useful meaningful criteria. Why would they share that info on anything but irregular intervals?
I am not saying share it weekly, on demand or anything. But it would be a nice one off thing. From the top of my head, I would think:
-Usage of voice for advisor
-Restart rate within 20 years
-Ranking of government types
-Most commonly picked name for the Amoba
-Average insults sent per century
-Siding in the War in Heaven
-Ascension paths taken
-Which covenants are most common
-Galaxy size selection
-Shape
-Average number of mods
-GC/MC/ME/FP/Standard empire split
Again....for me, this is a SP game, but I do want to know how people play. Maybe I miss something and need to try .
You would find this boring. Fine. I would love to see what the community actually plays.
Why would they share? Why do they post things on the twitter account. Why do they do dev diaries. Why do they dev clashes. Because it keeps the community engaged and gives us something to talk about. Because we are interested.
