Non permanent dejure drift of titles without a dejure liege [2.6.1]

Lo in the current patch, as well as every path I have had since I got the Charlamagne DLC dejure drift don't work with custom kingdoms. If you drift a duchy into them and then later drift the kingdom into an empire if you save and reload the kingdom will once again be independent dejure. The same does for other titles who do not have a dejure empire in the landed titles file. Like for an example the papacy.

I think I have reported on it before but since it has never been fixed I thought I would give it another shot.

Noticed it as well, I believe it have something to do with history of title. Never posted it myself, because happens only in modded games for me, and really I was warned. Same for duchies by the way.
It's kinda annoying - I'm using Title Manager mod and console to fix such problems.
